Plumb Moves to the City: Chapter 4

​  Officer Hart had wanted to take Plumb home when she was discharged, but her new friend had already claimed that privilege. She honestly didn't care who took her home as long as she got home. Life was going to be better now that she was home and could relax for a minute. 
   "Oh, Plumb you don't know how happy I am to hear you are in the city! I really need your help!" Her aunt said on the other end of the phone.
  "Sorry, aunty, but I just got into an accident, and I'm not really mobile."
  "Oh, yes, I was talking to your mom about that. She said that you have a little scooter thing right? You are basically still mobile right?"
  "Um, well, yes, I do have a scooter thing."
  "Plumb, it's Salak. She's relapsing to her shy days again. I need her to work, but she can't do it by herself. She needs her support cousin. You just have to be there with her. I will pay you, and I can pay you well too! I really need your help on this. Please, Plumb."
  Plumb sighed. This was not going to be a relaxing recovering.
